Guide · Interior Consultation Basel

Interior consultation: cost, process & preparation.

An interior consultation does not have to be a major project. It can begin with one specific question and focus exactly on the point where you are stuck.

What does an interior consultation with ReNew Home cost?

The entry-level Home Check starts at CHF 190.–. It includes 60–90 minutes on site, an analysis and concrete next steps. The Room Concept starts at CHF 390.– and includes a moodboard plus colour, material and furnishing ideas for one room. Larger projects are quoted individually.

How does an interior consultation work?

We begin with the question of what you would like to change. It might be an unsettled furniture layout, a room that lacks atmosphere, a difficult colour decision or a completely new space. We then look at the room as a whole: use, light, existing furniture, colours, materials and budget.

From this, we develop practical recommendations. Depending on the scope, these may remain a focused consultation or grow into a complete room concept with a moodboard and selected products.

What should you prepare before the appointment?

  • Photos of the room from several angles
  • Approximate dimensions or a floor plan, if available
  • A short list of what you already like and what currently bothers you
  • Images or references that show moods you are drawn to
  • An idea of what should remain and what budget feels realistic

When is an interior consultation particularly useful?

When you have many ideas but no clear direction; when a room still feels wrong despite new furniture; when you want to bundle decisions before a move or renovation; or when you deliberately want to integrate existing furniture rather than replace everything.
